Glutinous rice cake is a term for old Chinese-style confectionary in general. It was very popular in Tang dynasty (618 - 907), which is an unbaked premium sweet traditionally served with tea during the tea ceremony. The elaborate figure represents the seasons that it is eaten and may vary monthly.

In the mid-way, the "Yuantong Wonderful Realm (圓通勝景坊)" is a majestic archway built by General Wu Sangui (吳三桂) in 1669. Don't miss the exquisite stone carving on the pillars
