Travel Details from the host -> Hello, I am Angela. I am a lover of family, food, wine, travel and meeting people from all over the world . Our residence has been in the family since 1970 when my mother Anastasia, began renting rooms to young hippy travelers drawn to the area for the famous Matala scene. Since that time, it grew into a Pension accomodating a steady stream of repeat guests who ritually vacationed in the area. Fifteen years ago I assumed this family business and for the last three years I have been renovating it more and more each year. The Pension Pelekanos is a part of my life, my history and my soul and allows my family an opportunity to maintain and share something from the past while combining it with new characteristics to create a better future.
