Neighborbood Overview:

No trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the Latin Quarter in the 5th arrondissement and the Rue Daguerre district in the 14th arrondissement. Both on the left bank. The many cafes and restaurants in the area are laid-back and welcoming. they are filled with Parisians, students and tourists. There are several attractions to visit, including the Notre-Dame cathedral, the Pantheon, the National Museum of the Middle Ages, the gardens and the museum of Luxembourg, the catacombs and the Arenas of Lutetia. While walking in the district, you will also meet the Sorbonne, the most famous university of Paris; the Collège de France, the Lycée Henri IV, the shopping streets of rue Mouffetard and rue Monge and the charming Place de la Contrescarpe. The area is also home to popular entertainment venues such as Paradis Latin, Théâtre de l'Odéon and Caveau de la Huchette.
