Korfos is a small picturesque settlement on the east side of Thirasia. This is the port of the capital Manolas and the old port of the island.

Today, the small bay is used as a port for sailboats and boats that make excursions from Athinios (port of Fira) to Palea Kameni, Nea Kameni and Thirasia. Korfos is connected to Manolas by a winding path, on which there are 270 steps and the distance can be covered with donkeys.

The beach of the settlement is suitable for swimming and fishing. There are cafes and traditional taverns in the area, while some fishermen's shelters have been built.
