Reaching the island of Andros is a piece of cake. Just arrive to the Athens International Airport and rent a car or catch a 30 minute cab ride to the port of Rafina. Rafina is the second biggest port of Attica, after Piraeus, and only 35 km away from the center of Athens. It is the place where ferries depart with destination the islands of Andros, Tinos and Mykonos.
From Rafina, it is a scenic 2 hour by ferry to the port of Gavrio. From there it is 11 klms or 20 minute-drive, with direction north, to the villa.
