A roomy apartment (90sqm) on the second floor of a privately owned house. Only the owner lives in the house.
It is fully self-sufficient with a little hallway giving onto the kitchen, the lounge and the toilet. The bed and bathroom are accessible from the lounge.
There is a little balcony at the front of the house and at the back there is lots of greenery.
It is a quiet street. Very close to the city and all EU institutions (Schuman and Madou). Public transport is great and shops are nearby.

Other things to note
I am myself not living in the house yet because my part of the house, ground floor and first floor are still under renovation. During the week there is hardly ever anyone working but on the weekends between 9am and 6pm there can be noise due to flooring or simply people walking up and down. The biggest (and loudest) works are finished but renovating always makes some noise.

Travel Details from the host -> A good example of a 'real' Bruxellois: not born here, but living here since 1998 and having built my life here. Originally I come from the Eastern part of Belgium and I have spent my university years in the UK. I have two children, born in 2007 and 2012 that live with me part-time. I have been doing (Air)bnb hosting since 2010 and I enjoy hosting people from all over the world and keep myself inspired by the ambitions and ideas of all these people having an interesting experience in Brussels that mostly proves a very important passage in their lives. I have recently changed house (2021) so I have a new listing and I am not proposing the old listings anymore. You can expect a familial context but you can choose to be more sociable or all private.
