The space
The apartment is in a classic Vienna-style building of 1900, with high, spacious rooms, large double doors, old herringbone parquet and genuine terrazzo flooring, all lovingly restored. The interior is kept simple and spans between old and new. In the rooms are intentionally only the essentials, according to the motto: more space for you in any sense.

- A long antique teak table dominates the dining room. An old secretary and a Viennese baroque couch sum up the ensemble.

The promenade of the Danube Canal ist just a few steps down the road from the house. There, on the right hand side you will find the Wettstein Park with over 300 different varieties of roses. A Hundertwasser is seen in the distance and marks the access to the recreation area of the near Danube Island. To the left is a line-up of beach bars, first of all the exquisit Tel Aviv Beach 2000 run by Haya Molcho. Try getting there for the sundown, lying in a deck chair on the sandpit, sipping a cool mochito, whatching the crowd pass by! I tell you, it rocks!

Leider kann ich nur noch selten dort sein und es ist schade, wenn die Wohnung leer steht. Deshalb vermiete ich sie – in der Hoffnung, dass sie meinen Gästen den Aufenthalt in der Stadt versüßen wird. So wie sie es für mich jedes Mal aufs Neue tut. At the age of 17, I was "forced" by my parents to move with them from Germany to Vienna. As a Piefke (that's how the Austrian like to call the Germans) I had a hard time in the beginning. But over the years, the city and the country grew dear to my heart. Today I can boldly say: I love Vienna. And so I made myself a litte dream come true: I bought an old substandard Viennese apartment and renovated it to my own taste and liking. Unfortunately I can only rarely be there, and it is a pity if the apartment is not lived in. That's why I rent it, hoping that my guests will enjoy to stay there as much as I do.
