Tour Itinerary presented by Cotswold Exploring

Our tour starts with a drive though the quaint Oxfordshire town of Woodstock. See a view of Blenheim Palace (birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill) as we pass through.

Enjoy window-shopping in some of the quaint antiques shops and boutiques in the pretty town square or visit St Edwards Church with its quirky wooden door, said to have inspired the writer Tolkien.

Our drive then takes us through some beautiful countryside and picturesque villages to Bourton-on-the-Water, the 'Venice of the Cotswolds'. Bourton has many cafes and small souvenir shops to explore and there is also the pretty River Windrush with its small stone bridges.

We then continue to Burford, the Gateway to the Cotswolds via the quaint stone villages of the Windrush Valley. Enjoy browsing around the small shops and cafes in Burford.

You end your unforgettable Cotswold journey driving through the quaint villages of Swinbrook and Asthall (home to the Mitford sisters) and stop in the beautiful village of Minster Lovell, with its its attractive thatched houses and ruined Hall.
