From the Villa Garden, you can see down into Georgioupoli; once a small fishing village. It’s picturesque harbour is still in use to support the now bustling village. In the village you will find restaurants ranging from traditional tavernas offering exquisite local cuisine to numerous rooftop modern bars, craft shops, bakery’s, banks, excursion services a petrol station and more.

As you walk out of the centre towards the Sea you will be met with a vast stretch of beach, (the longest beach in Crete in fact!) where you will see the stoned pathway stretching out to St.Nicholas Church, one of Crete’s most scenic spots.

The coast is lined with beach front restaurants and roof top bars, some open until early hours of the morning. As you walk down the beach (or left over the harbour) you will stumble across numerous humble and idyllic beach tavernas. All of these locations are easily accessible by car.
