You will find anything you need easily (taverns, bars, car & bike rental agencies, sports facilities, shops, super markets, cinema, medical center, pharmacy). All of them are about 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from the house. You can also visit numerous historical and archeological sites due to its proximity to Heraklion. The city center and the museums are 6km away and the Minoan Palace of Knossos is 10km away.

The beach is 1 minute walking distance starting from the apartment's door! The beach is one of the 'blue flag' beaches in Greece and it’s family friendly. There are also beach bars and umbrellas to rent, protected by Baywatch. You can also find many water sport facilities. In case that it's too windy and you don’t like the waves, there are two excellent beach-pool bars in front of the building where can also enjoy your drink and swim.
