My sunny and quiet place is located smack in the middle of bourgeois-bohème St Boniface neighbourhood, only a pleasant stroll away from both the major tourist attractions (Grand' place, museums, Sablon) and the European Institutions. Easy access to all public transport and direct line to South and Central Stations.

The space
My rooftop duplex is situated on a third floor with no lifts. There’s a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom which includes both a shower and a bathtub. There’s an additional bedroom upstairs and guests who stay there can use an additional shower room and toilet downstairs.

The living room, dining room, kitchen is a large open area with a high ceiling and very large door and window overlooking a lovely rooftop balcony with views of the St Boniface spire.

in area-Bruxelles, Belgium

The area is called Saint Boniface, in the district of Ixelles. It has a young funky vibe with many restaurants and cafés. It’s only a twenty minute walk from the centre of Bruxelles but it’s not touristy at all. No touts here to annoy you. You’ll feel like a local. Like your typical Cosmopolitan Bruxelles local!

There is a very good cinema theatre very close by, with films out of the beaten track, as well as a branch of UGC showing the standard blockbusters. There are also half a dozen drama theatres within walking distance. The Palais des Beaux Arts is 10 minuted away by foot. As is the Avenue Louise shopping area.

The Art-deco place Flagey and the Ixelles ponds are a short stroll away. From there you can walk on in to the Cambre Park and over into the amazing Soignes Forest. A great way to make a day hiking or to look for mushrooms.

Really, it doesn’t get more central and yet you’ll feel like a local, not a tourist. Try it!
