The space
Outside, a noise barrier keeps away the noise from the highway. With windows closed, you hear nothing from the highway. With open windows, it's a monotone rush. Like the sound of the sea. Actually, it's very meditative... ;-)
In the living room, there's a self-built couch, made of pallets. Makes a good bed for one person.
The double bed is self-built too, also made of pallets. Consequently, it's heavy and stable. With slatted frames and matresses, it's rather soft to sleep.
