Predominantly a Puerto Rican and Dominican South Bronx neighborhood, Hunts Point is a friendly, lively, diverse neighborhood with the typical cast of characters seemingly often out of an episode of Seinfeld or any other show/movie from NYC; we have a great coffee shop/cafe around the corner featuring live music/open mic nights (Boogie Down Grind), close proximity to the trendy dining options of Mott Haven (a fun 15 min ride away on an electric CitiBike!), multiple grocery stores and parks nearby: Hunts Point Riverside, Julio Carballo Fields (with track for running/walking around 2 baseball fields with stadium lighting at night), Barretto Point (has view of Manhattan skyline plus a pool in summer), Drake Park/historic cemetery, Hunts Point Landing, Concrete Plant, Starlight Park, Crotona Park and the crown jewel of them all, Soundview Park. In the summer we have the Floating Pool (literally on a barge they brought from New Orleans!) at Barretto Point Park. NYC struggles with trash issue
