Treis Ekklisies is a place named after the three Byzantine churches, Metamorfosi, Evagelismos and Agios Georgios.
The beach is surrounded by crystal clear waters and is ideal for underwater exploration. Next to the beach you can find some taverns and cafes. During summer you can get the necessities from the mini market in Treis Ekklisies (generally it is open from 15 June to 15 September). For more variety of products you can visit one of the closest supermarkets in Pirgos or Charakas which are available all time of the year.

The wild beauty of the scenery is delicately combined with the warm people living here, composing an absolutely perfect balance in the visitor’s senses.

Travel Details from the host -> Nikos is an Electric Engineer and Voula is a school teacher. We are a married couple who have the blessing to be parents of two young boys. Voula spent here all her childhood summers with her grandmother, siblings and friends. This building (about 10 years old) is in fact built over Voula’s childhood cottage, a place full of memories and everlasting feelings. That used to be her grandmother’s residence, one of the first in the village, as in the past days it was a difficult to access place, where only monks and hermits chose to live. Thus, the whole area around deserved the title of Mount Athos of Crete. Only after the early 60s people were allowed to build here and gradually electricity and water supply reached this isolated place. Our main house is close to Iraklion and we are willing to help with any issue that may occur. Our wish during your stay is to feel as lovely and comfortable as we do when being in Treis Ekklisies.
