The house is in the village of Artemonas, which is famous for its old, authentic big properties of the island. A parking place is at a distance of 150 mts. of the house. It is close to the main square of the village and the bus station. Bakery and supermarket are also around as well as typical restaurants. The sea is accessible by bus at a distance of 20 to 60 min.
Apollonia is the town for night life with bars and restaurants. At Sifnos one can enjoy trekking, beaches and beautiful nature.
The space
What makes my space unique is the authenticity of the house. It is a typical sifnian house over 100 years old, with 60 cm. thickness of the walls which makes the house fresh and agreeable to live in summer. The ceiling is made of slates and beams, also the floor has grey slates typical of the cycladic islands.
Furthermore, the upper garden is quite isolated planted all around with rosemarys, a pomegranate tee and an apricot tree.
