King's Home is located in the center of Galanádo - a typical Greek village - with lots of lovely and welcoming inhabitants. The small village is built amphitheatrically on a slope with fantastic views of the lush valley of Livadi and further beyond, the capital of the island "Chora". Within a short walking distance from the King's Home you will find a Butcher Shop, the Café "Ton Fillon" with a kids playground (offering food from the BBQ in the evenings as well) and a traditional Greek coffee place "Drillis" which is also functioning as a kind of supermarket selling essentials and operating as a little Taverna (serving breakfast in the morning and Souvlaki & Salads in the evening). In the closest neighborhood the Greek Orthodox church of "The Holy Spirit" built in 1780 can be visited and at times the church bells can be heard.
