The 9th district with the "Servitenviertel" is one of the hippest areas in Vienna with a typical Viennese flair!

Within walking distance there are a variety of international bars and restaurants, as well as the "Summerstage" area, and as well some attractions such as the impressive Palais Liechtenstein with the big park, the Strauss- and the Freud Museum or the Strudelhofstiege. Not quite as touristy as the city center you will enjoy the many authentic places away from the usual tourist paths.

A few steps further (about 1 km) you come to the city center, to the "Votiv Kirche" and the university, the Danube Canal or the Schottenring.

Not much further you will also find the Town Hall with the Film Festival, opposite the Burgtheater, or the Schwedenplatz and the "Bermuda Triangle" area and of course St. Stephen's Cathedral with shopping streets "Kärntner Strasse" and "Graben" (2km distance).
