This Josephinian house was built in 1785 by Josef Meissl. The smooth façade with recessed central axis is structured by framed windows, corduroy cornices and an attic floor. In the arched portal is still the original wooden door. In the courtyard open cylindrical staircase with spiral staircase lead to Pawlatschengängen (Corridors). The house was home to Ludwig van Beethoven (1809), Franz Grillparz and Ignaz Franz Castelli (1923).
