Live like a local! Right on the corner before the house, there are some findings from ancient Kissamos before the catastrophic earthquake that covered it all the 4rth century AD. They have been discovered some years ago, but have been left unattented. However, you can visit the well organized Archaeological Museum of Kissamos, with the infamous mosaics. Right across the street there are some shops you will find useful daily, such as a mini market and a bakery. There is also a shop with traditional homemade pasta you will find really special on the corner without crossing the street, where you can have coffee or refreshments.
