Two bedroom studio in a quiet neighbourhood near Ghent with free parking,bicycles available and access to the garden. Accommodation up to 5 guests. There are 2 spacious bedrooms, a bathroom , a living room and a kitchenette to make a quick meal, all at the first floor.

The space
Our house is located in a residential and quiet street in one of the suburbs of Ghent. The facilities for the guests are on the first floor of our house.
There's free parking in the street and on our driveway there's enough place to park 2 vans.

Around the corner you'll find several supermarkets: Lidl, Delhaise, Carrefour, Aldi and Colruyt. Supermarket Delhaise is open on Sundays during the morning ( 8:30-12:30). In the vicinity there's also pharmacies, bakeries and a small shopping centre. There's a bigger mall at 8 km. The university hospital is close ( about 10 minutes by car).
Ghent can easily be reached by bus (nr 96) or tram ( nr 2) at the bustation (' Melle Leeuw') at 8 minute walking distance which takes you to the centre of Ghent in about 15 minutes. To the main station ( Ghent-Saint-Pieters) it's a 25 minute tram ride, if you take the bus, it takes only 15 minutes.
The historical centre of the city is only 6 km away. You can park your car in the 'interparking South Ghent' under the South square, very close to the historical centre of Ghent.

Travel Details from the host -> Hi, I'm Patrick and I live in Melle (Belgium), a quiet village near Ghent. My family and I ( two sons and my wife Heidi) are fond of travelling. Since 2015 we experienced good holidays by staying in all kind of Airbnb locations ( Belgium, Holland, Greece, Sweden, Germany , Vietnam, and so on).
