Belleville is a unique very lively and multicultural neighborhood with cafes and restaurants opened late in the evening. Near by, the largest Paris Parc des Buttes Chaumont, Parc de la Villette, Citée de la Musique, Philharmonie de Paris, Canal St. Martin, Place de la République, Le Marais and Picasso Museum, Beaubourg and Pompidou Museum etc... Health care centers, drugstores, swimming pools, public libraries, art galleries, a lot of restaurants, cafes, open market twice a week in front of our building, supermarkets. Perfect location to visit Paris: either with a rented bicycle, walking or taking short rides by metro towards all Paris famous landmarks and many surprising sites.

My name is Fabienne and I'm a visual artist. Together with my husband who is a musician (and an engineer) we are based and worked in Belleville district, living in the same building for 1991. I was born in Paris but I have been living and working abroad too, mainly in Amsterdam and New York City. I spend long periods of time developing artistic projects in South EUROPE... Therefore I'm familiar with a few languages, spoken or written: French, English, Italian and Spanish. I may be comfortable enough with simple written or spoken exchanges in Portuguese. I love and I'm used to relate to various persons and cultures, there lies the main reason for which we have chosen to settle in our Belleville neighborhood. I also like books, music(s), cinema, theatre, trees: Here in our typical old Paris courtyard, my husband and I did succeed to grow plants and trees! By the way, I LOVE PARIS.
