the neighborhood is very pleasant , you have the feeling to be in a small french city but you are in the heart of Paris...."le marché des enfants rouges" , the carreau du temple recently renovated , the parc of the city hall of the 3rd arrondissement , la rue vieille du temple with its artistic shops, galleries.....and la place des Vosges at 10 minutes , and the streets of Le Marais full of fashion shops, café terrasses ....and the private mansions(hotels particuliers) and small gardens to visit (Musée Carnavalet is" un hotel particulier" which is free to visit )....the photos of the quarter that you can see , are taken very near to the apartment .

Travel Details from the host -> iN FRENCH FIRST IN ENGLISH AFTER FRENCH J'aime les amis la famille, la convivialité, la cuisine et le bon vin (rouge) J'aime les voyages , suis souvent en Grèce l'été J'aime la création ,je récupère différents matériaux sur les plages et je recycle ...artistiquement j'espère ! j'ai ouvert une petite galerie à Montmartre qui me permet de côtoyer de nombreux artistes j'aime les ballades en vélo , la nature et la beauté des paysages ....le jardinage quand c'est possible J'aime la politique , l'économie, la sociologie, l'histoire, l'ésotérisme et la spiritualité en général j'aime la musique jazz, le new age et suis ouvert à la pop et au classique je n'aime pas beaucoup les "matchos"et les frimeurs mais j'aime bien de temps en temps un bel hôtel de luxe ou de charme .....personne n'est parfait . Mon appartement et mon quartier sont à mon image , la déco est pleine de détails concernant mon enfance (les années 60), mes voyages , mes créations, mes goûts artistiques ...c''est mon "petit nid" en plein Paris et on y voit des arbres de la chambre , on entend les oiseaux et on est tout près de nombreuses boutiques de (Website hidden by Airbnb) vous "prête" ce petit nid si vous le (Website hidden by Airbnb) comme dit Jacques Dutronc dans sa chanson " si vous êtes comme moi .....téléphonez moi !!! l love being with people , my family and my friends, I love cooking for them and I like a good glass of red wine.....very french no ? I love travelling and very often I am in Greece during summertime., I have been flying and working for AirFrance for 34 years . I stopped a few years ago since I have began an artistic carreer by creating"assemblages"made with recycled items I find on beaches mostly in Greece.; I have opened an art galery in Montmartre . I love a good bike riding in the countryside and I am very concerned with the protection and the beauty of the environment I am interested in economy, politics, sociology, history , and spirituality I don' t like too much the "matchos" or people showing off.....but I am not against( from time to time) a luxuriuous or charming hotel during my travels and even in Paris I like to show "my" Paris to my guests (If I am in Paris you can be my guest for a few hours) Ilove jazz and new age music and I am opened to different kind of music like pop music . I love watching TV (Debates,news,documentaries on nature,world issues,poitics.....) My apartment and the district are at my image and decorated with full of details connected to my life the sixties( because it was my childhood in Normandy ), souvenirs of travels, personal artistic creations paintings,.....and with the nature ( you can see the trees on the square from the bed of the bedroom )...and close to boutiques of young (Website hidden by Airbnb) is my nest in Paris , it is yours for a few days if you wish.
