The space
The studio is in a 1920’s built-in building dedicated to artists during the period of Ecole de Paris located in Montparnasse: there is only artists studios in it. Friendly and quiet neighbours, a very charming and typical parisian atmosphere. The studio is at the first floor, overlooking the garden.
It's a one bedroom of 40m2: french designers furnitures, bedroom upstairs, fully equiped kitchenette with one classic oven plus a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a washing and drying machine for your clothes, and a cosy bathroom with a bath. Wifi connection and TV with HDMI are included.

Neighborbood Overview:

On Sunday, flee market at the Porte de Vanves (5 mn walk), lots of antiq and vintage shops in the aera, cinemas, traditional bakeries (good bread and fresh macarons), organic fruits ad vegetables shops, fresh fish and butcher, wine shops, chinese take away… and the mythic Marché aux Puces de St Ouen directly at the end of the metro line n°4…
About food now ;)) here are my best places to enjoy exquisite french food and wine:

it's called Les Rouquins, 146 rue du Chateau (15 mn walk with the GSM) : the outside is not classical: like a closed shop with white painting hiding the inside, no name... but inside is great a bistro with a touch of design, incredible food for 7-20 € the dish, organic wines from confidential producers in France- for me, my preferred place! there's also AU VIN DES RUES, a classical bistrot and restaurant, 21 Rue Boulard, 75014 Paris (10mn walk from my home). Travel Details from the host

As a photographer and travel writer, i travelled a lot in Africa, with a preference for the horn of Africa, Ethiopia and South Sudan. But I also traveled in Brazil (Amazonian forest, Rio, Arraial d'Ajuda), Panama, USA (California, New York), Russia, Asia ( Thaïland, Vietnam, Philippines), India, Oceania ( Australia, Papua New Guinea)... My parisian pied -à-terre is only 40M2 and the hardest for me is not to fill it with souvenirs and objects!!! Usually, when I travel, I always take an Opinel (a french knife belonging to my grandfather), a headlamp, my cameras of course, a Polaroid system to offer pictures to my models, tea an a nice fabric to set my "home" in any place. I'm a quite discrete and positive person, very passionate about my work, photography and art. I like to welcome people and make them feel like they're in a new home!
