There is a wonderful food and produce market on avenue de St Ouen, just a 5 minute walk from your Paris flat. There is another great market on Lepic and rue des Abbesses, a 10 minute walk from the apartment. On both streets you will find numerous boulangeries, patisseries, fromageries, fresh fruit and vegetable stands, butchers, fish shops and much more. There are many restaurants, shops, and cafes conveniently located around your Paris vacation rental.

This apartment will provide you with an authentic immersion into a real Parisian neighborhood.

Travel Details from the host

After 20 years in Paris I now live in mid Coast Maine with my French hubby. We have been here since 2012 and love it. I travel frequently to Paris, France and Italy. We recently built an eco-friendly house using local and reclaimed materials. For many years I had my own company Haven In (renting boutique apartments in Paris) and I recently sold it and look forward to the next chapter in my life. I have a blog on Paris called HiP Paris and a personal blog Paris to Maine where I am documenting life in Maine (although not frequently enough). We have two kitties, 15 hens and a rooster named Monsieur and we adore them all. This year I had a huge garden full of organic fruit, vegetable and flowers. Lots of work, and very satisfying. I hope to be able to grow more and more and feed us throughout the year. We have also been involved in the local gleaning effort as food insecurity is a big problem here in Maine. I am excited to help bring good fresh food to those in need. I plan to spend more time working on this in the future.
