Villa Iris is located at the village of Tavronitis and it is 30 km west of Chania. Tourism interest is pretty low and the village retains an authentic ambience with very friendly shopkeepers, delighted to have the opportunity to practice their English, to have the chance to hear about other people's life style or tell about their own. In the village of Tavronitis you will find a couple of convenient mini-markets, there's a butcher bakery and a patisserie. If you go down by the sea there are 3-4 tavern's along the pebbly shore line which stretches almost 10 km around the bay to Kolymbari, known for its harbor side fish taverns.

Travel Details from the host -> Hello there, I am Manos, owner and manager of CreteVillas4U. I have been in the hospitality sector long before CreteVillas4U, however. I was actually born, grew up, and spent most of my life in a hotel owned by my family. So, I guess it came as no surprise when I expressed my wish to study in Rhodes’ Tourism School and, later on, when I decided to start my own business in the sector.
