ALS SUITES are located in Angelou str., one of the most beautiful streets at the old town of Chania, seconds away from the sea. The setting and atmosphere of our suites is ideal to explore the Venetian port of Chania and unique destinations like Samaria, Falasarna,Balos,(URL HIDDEN) all seasons.

The space
ALS SUITES II is located in one of the most beautiful streets at the old town of Chania, in the famous area of Tophana (Topana) (see also ALS SUITES I, https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/8297278). ALS SUITES II is on the second floor of the Aggelou 9 building. This building dates back to the 1200s Venetian Rule of the city of Chania and it has been recognized by the Greek State as a historical monument (see last picture). The building became property of the Vidalakis family in the 1930s, it was fully renovated in the 1980s, and since the early 2000s it has been the home of ALS (ἅλς: Greek for sea), managed by Aikaterini.

When you enter the Aggelou street in the Topanas neighborhood it feels like you switched century...All of a sudden you leave in the past. Topanas (Tophane: Turkish for armory) is located behind the Firka Fortress and Aggelou street is one of the main entrances to the Venetian Harbor. The street is so beautiful that is considered one of the most photographed streets in the city. In fact, the Wikipedia article for Chania has a picture of the ALS SUITES Aggelou 9 building...("The modern city" section, first picture on the left).
