Our houseboat is moored on the banks of the Saone, in the heart of Lyon. Located between the districts of Bellecour and Confluence, close to Old Lyon, it is close to the main tourist attractions.

Travel Details from the host -> Je suis directeur d'école retraité. J'ai enseigné à l'étranger : Algérie et Djibouti. J'ai fait le choix de passer le reste de ma carrière à Vaulx-en-Velin Je suis un militant associatif non révolutionnaire. J'ai créé un outil pédagogique à partir d'une péniche transformée en véritable hôtel flottant pour accueillir des enfants afin de leur faire découvrir au fil de l'eau, pendant 5 jours, la faune, la flore, la qualité de l'eau et l'environnement .... J'ai eu la chance de terminer ma carrière avec le prix Nobel Georges Charpak pour développer l'enseignement des sciences à l'école : "La Main à la Pâte. Je suis président du comité cœur de Lyon de la Légion d'honneur. J'habite sur la péniche et, lorsque je suis présent, j'ai beaucoup de plaisir à recevoir les visiteurs dans des cabines bien équipées et parfaitement adaptées pour l'hiver comme pour l'été.
