Le supermarché Sitis, juste en bas, est ouvert de 8h à minuit. Très pratique, choix de fruits de grande qualité.

The Coulée Verte (old railway transformed into a luxuriant pedestrian walk from Bastille to the Bois de Vincennes) can be taken 100m down the street. Excellent bakeries close-by (Vandermeersch, one of the bests in Paris, and le Grenier Lorrain) and top quality farmers' market on Tuesdays and Fridays on the Daumesnil square. I am an English teacher who has been living in Paris for the past ten years and is still madly in love with this city! I love meeting new people and new cultures and being able to make someone feel at home while abroad. I love books, cats and gourmet cuisine. One of my favourite things to do on a Sunday is to go to a flea market and browse through all the old furniture and funny knick-knacks to decorate my home and give it a cosy feel.
