Dikastirion square is a quite lively place with many great spots to enjoy a drink or a meal.

Fidias Cafe-Bar is a popular meeting place for the locals, day or night, but quite a few people also favor Mikel, right across the street.

For local delicacies and the famous Greek Gyros, Patridogeusia, one of the oldest restaurants in Chania is literally right next door (to Marita's Apartments) and open till late at night.

And of course, should you like to stock up on anything, no more than 100 meters away there is a big Supermarket, open every day from 8:00 till 20:30, apart from Sundays.

Now, a place that you should not miss is the historical cafe, Kipos. Located in the premises of the Municipal Garden of Chania and only 10 minutes walk. Feel free to wander around, exploring the local fauna leaving in piece in the Gardens in special houses.
