Christina's House is over 200 years old and renovated to a very high standard. It is self contained, a true home from home and has everything guest's need to enjoy a self catering holiday. It is located just 2 minutes walk from the center of Kritsa where there are many shops and Taverna's. The area is good for walking, beaches and exploring.

Unfortunately the house is not suitable for disabled people.

in area-Kritsa, Greece

The House is located at the end of an alleyway approximately 10 meters off the road to Kroustas. All our neighbours are Greek and very friendly and live a very simple life tending to their land during the mornings and then sitting outside relaxing in the afternoons and into the evening. From the house you are able to explore the rest of this lovely quaint village which is only a short 2 minute walk from the area where the shops, tavernas and cafe's are.

Travel Details from the host -> I am an outgoing, friendly 61 year old woman with 4 children and 5 Grandchildren. Allan (my Husband) and I brought our first house in Kritsa in 2001 with the intention of living here permanently in the future. We finally managed to achieve this in 2015 when our Children had made their own way in life and we no longer had family commitments in the UK. We purchased a second property next door to us in 2005, renovated it and had it on the market to sell when we relocated here. At that time Greece was still going through a financial crisis and properties were not selling. In 2016, we decided to take the property off the market, furnish it and list it on Airbnb as holiday accommodation. It was one of the best decisions we have made and we thoroughly enjoy meeting and hosting guest's. We obtained Superhost status within the first 4 months of hosting and have maintained this status to date. In total we have hosted guest's from 19 Countries all of which have been lovely people. Our guest's have been from all over Europe, the UK, Australia, New Zealand the USA, Canada and India and we thank each and everyone of them for making our hosting experience so enjoyable. We are now looking forward to hosting many more guests in the coming years who will be able to enjoy the experience of living in a village house in the heart of the community and exploring the beautiful Island of Crete. We will do everything we can to make our guest's stay relaxing and enjoyable and we are available most of the time to assist our guest's in anyway we can. We both love walking our rescue dog Rolo, the beach and exploring new place's of which Crete never disappoints and we are happy to share these experiences with our guest's. The life we live now in this beautiful village is just perfect.
