Psirri ist ein sehr lebendiges, kreatives multikulti Viertel. Man findet überall kleine Handwerksbetriebe die man für ausgestorben hielt... Kunstläden usw... Gleich um die Ecke sind kleine Strassen mit zahlreichen Cafés, Tavernen auch mit live Musik, Bars, Läden in denen man wie auf einer griechischen Insel flanieren kann... Die Wohnung ist grundsätzlich ruhig gelegen in einer Seitenstrasse, allerdings kann es am Wochenende und Feiertagen wegen live Musik in der Nachbarschaft etwas lauter werden. Es ist kein Sanatorium!
Die Akropolis ist zu Fuss locker in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Ebenso viele Museen und Sehenswürdigkeiten, der Monastiraki Platz, Thissio, der Kunstmarkt, der Flohmarkt, die grosse Markthalle Varvakio mit vielen frischen Leckereien, Fisch, Fleisch, Gemüse, Gewürze, uvm.
