Dimosthenis, Catherine and Thanos started renovating Kalliberry complex on 2014, after they decided to leave Athens and move to this beautiful Cycladic island.
Fascinated by the energy of the place, we redesigned and renovated the main residence of the estate and shaped the surrounding area. Afterwards, we transformed an old stable to a place of high aesthetics, 'the cave', and on 2020 (during quarantine time) we finished working on this dream house, villa Elissavet!

The space
The property is isolated from the busy crowd, located in the northern part of the island, 20 minutes driving from Gavrio port. A car is needed to explore the island, but a scooter can also do the job.

Travel Details from the host -> Hello world! Your hosts are 3 friends, 3 travelers of the world, who decided to leave Athens and start a new life in this beautiful Cycladic island. Me Dimosthenis, Catherine and Thanos started the Kalliberry project on 2014. We left Athens and came here to build our dream. We started by fully renovating an old traditional house that we leave in , reconstructed and expanded the Cave in a level below the main house. After some years we also finished villa Elissavet by keeping all those elements that highlight its traditional character and its 'bond' with mother earth, in combination with a touch of vintage decoration. We started working with the bees and have a bee colony in Palaistou village nearby. We then started a small honey factory located in Gavrio and we work with bees and honey ever since! Kalliberry got bigger as we renovated Villa Elissavet during the 1st COVID-19 lockdown and we really gave our best to built a unique house that will stay in your dreams forever. We share the compound with cats and some chickens. We speak english, french, italian and spanish and we wait to welcome you to our small paradise!
