Fully renovated country house with an artsy touch, a serene inner courtyard and a wonderful garden. Located in Fourfouras village, a most pristine part of Crete, at the southern foothills of Psiloritis mountain and the entrance to Amari Valley. The Agia Galini beach is only 21 km away. Available as a whole or partially. Two separate areas for 8 people in total to sleep, each with its bath, and a common kitchen. Experience authentic Crete at its best!
The space
This cottage built in 1930s was fully renovated in 2020. Only the thick outside stone walls and the red tiled roof remained (even though we insulated the roof too).
New doors and windows were opened to provide access to the inner courtyard which was also transformed to a beautiful garden, designed by a known landscape architect.
A modern arty touch is the unifying concept to lighten and enhance the often austere Cretan environment.
