Within a 5-minute walk, you will find the central market, shopping streets, Venetian monuments, as well as many taverns, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, patisseries, etc. Just opposite there is a small cafe, and 50 meters above two cafes and a tavern. At a 2-minute distance are the bus stops for the airport, the archeological site of Knossos and the nearby beaches at the east and west side of the city. The port is within a 10-minute walking distance as well as the main bus station for transportation to all places around Crete.
