in area-Athina, GreeceMini-Loft is part of one of the most authentic neighboorhoods of Central Athens, named "Kountouriotika". The Kountouriotika complex was built between 1933 and 1939 to house ethnik Greek refugees from Instanbul and features three rows of Bauhaus buildings. Those buildings, innovative for their time, were the first to incorporate hot water showers. A fire was lit on the top-floor common washing room and pipes were carrying hot water to the residents.
The neighboorhood still remains tight knit, with some refugees and their direct descendants still living in the neighboorhood. Those mix harmonically with young couples that have recently moved into the area, attracting them because of its calm and quiet nature. Essentially you are at the foot Lycabettus hill, the highest greenest hill of Central Athens and can easily walk into Kolonaki, Syntagma and Exarheia areas using the trails at the bottom of Lycabettus Hill park area.
