Neighborbood Overview:

Nice and local neighbourhood, yet well located. 15 minute walk to hip and trendy Bedford Ave, and closer to more local up and coming areas, which in my opinion are more interesting. The L train at Graham Ave is a 10 minute walk away and takes 5 minutes to Manhattan (East Village) and 10 minutes to Union Square. Wonderful McCarren Park is also very close to the apartment, which all year round fills up with locals exercising, playing and relaxing. There are several gyms in the area and several great cafés, restaurants, bars and music venues.
The apartment is located on a main street, hence it comes with the sounds and buzz of traffic etc. that is quite usual in this bustling city :)
