Historic Park Slope, Brooklyn is a family friendly neighborhood. The apartment is a few short blocks away to Prospect Park, Grand Army Plaza, Botanical Gardens, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Library, and Barclays center. Weekend antique flea market around the corner, Smorgasburg foodie flea market nearby on Sunday’s. The Slope's Down to Earth Farmers Market @ 4th street and 5th avenue, open Sundays 10-4pm. Green Market @ the northwest entrance of Grand Army Plaza and Prospect Park open Saturday's 8am-4pm. Citi bike, and lime scooter, and zip cars rentals available in the neighborhood. Restaurants, bars, shops, gyms, grocery stores, hair salons, all just blocks away.

I am not a typical host, I like learning and getting to know my guests on a personal level, before you request to book with me please be comfortable answering the following… I have been hosting for 15 years and felt airbnb becoming transactional and impersonal. In an effort to host from the heart, I take a personal approach to hosting. Even more so when many guests have told me hosts haven’t asked them a questions in 10 years, what a missed opportunity to connect with humanity. To me Airbnb is about community, specifically my community. I hope when visitors stay with me they feel like it’s an extension of their homes. But before I do, I would like you to get to know me. I’m a born and bred New Yorker, who is fascinated by people, naturally I became a behavioral scientist and researcher. More than that I am also a mom to a wonderful 6 year old son. I adore arts and antiques and have a penchant for designing and decorating beautiful inspiring spaces. My goal is to create a warm and cozy environment where guests are intrigued and commune with the decor and experience the space. When they arrive I want them to touch every time and provoke wonder and conversations. If you don’t mind please tell me about yourself? Where are you from originally? Did you grow up in there? What do you do for fun? Actually what does fun mean to you, what are your hobbies, what book are your currently reading, ( I’m reading How Emotions Are Made: The Secret Life of the Brain by Lisa Feldman Barrett). What is your favorite cuisine? I could eat Thai, Mexican and Italian every day and never get bored, my comfort food is Haitian. Fun to me means being in the moment, experiencing life second by second, despite whatever worries I are occurring around me. Also it’s fun to visit old homes and emerge myself in museums, I love live music and love plays and musicals. My hobbies are real estate prospecting, antiquing and interior decorating.
