The neighborhood is very safe, practical, and fun. There's a laundromat, supermarket, bodega, liquor store, bagel/coffee shop, and a handful of highly regarded restaurants across the street or within a block. Our personal favorite is Trophy Bar, an awesome place to get cheap beer and fries across the street.
