My place is in the middle of East Village, close to Tompkins Square Park and tons of ethnic cuisines, bars and places for every type of traveler. There is a queen size bed with a Casper mattress, and the pull out couch is very firm and sleeps comfortably two. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (no bath tub), and groups up to 4 people. Neighborbood Overview:

East Village is a vibrant neighborhood and a destination for entertainment, off-Broadway theater and culture. There is tons of bars and restaurants in the area and you are within walking distance to the Lower East Side, Chinatown, Little Italy, West Village and Union Square. During the summer all the places have outdoor seating and there are many small gardens around that give the area the feeling of a small town or a cozy neighborhood. The majority of the buildings are 5-story high (although new development in the periphery has allowed for some higher residential buildings), so you get to see the sky and feel the sun. You are also close to the Williamsburg bridge and, for those that like to walk, the Manhattan bridge, Brooklyn bridge and the Financial District. Due to the recent development in the area, there is a Target, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods within walking distance (15-20 minutes).

I am originally from Greece, living in New York. I am a lawyer doing contract work. So far it has taken me to Denver, New York, San Francisco and India and I do hope to get a work assignment in more places abroad too! I love traveling and meeting people, eating out, exploring places, going to museums, reading and watching movies. I don't like staying in hotels, I prefer seeing a new place through the eyes of the locals. I have traveled around Europe mostly, and have also lived for 7 months in Sri Lanka. I love New Orleans, the music, the food, the people, the lifestyle. I am a very respectful guest always cleaning up after myself and being quiet and easy going and pleasant so I am not a burden to my host(s).
