The metro is just eight minutes from my place, taking you to the Acropolis, Monastiraki, Thissio, Syntagma square and virtually anywhere. The Acropolis is within twelve minutes walking distance from the apartment. After Acropolis, the pedestrian street Dionysiou Areopagitou will lead you to the amazing Thissio and Monastiraki, where the flea market is. Plaka, our old city, is just in the backside of the Acropolis hill. It is very picturesque, with traditional restaurants and coffee shops.

The space
My place is a genuine modern Greek home, not an impersonal hotel apartment. It is 70 square meters large, with two bedrooms and air conditioning and smart TVs with Netflix in all rooms (Vodafone TV also available in the living room). It combines the touristy and the alternative, for those wishing to explore it.

Travel Details from the host -> My friends always tell me that they wish they could stay in my place all the time because it makes them feel good and has positive vibes. I do have an optimistic outlook on life, and I also love treating people like royalty, so maybe my home shares some of my qualities. I work as a make-up artist, masseuse and podologist, so I like helping people relax and feel at home. I love meeting new people and interacting with different cultures. In my spare time, I am involved in animal rescue, and I have helped to shelter, feed and find homes for hundreds of stray dogs and cats over the past sixteen years. Many of them required veterinary care because they were abused, malnourished, or sick. I take my hosting duties very seriously because I understand that the few days a guest stays at my place may be the only time of the year they can relax and recharge their batteries. Αncient Greeks believed that filoxenia (hospitality) was a sacred duty because the gods disguised themselves as guests and visited them in order to test their kindness.
