La Jolla is a smart seaside area, known for its rugged coastline. Trails wind past pine trees and sandstone canyons in Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, while the 2 courses at world-renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course sit atop sea cliffs. La Jolla Cove has sweeping ocean views, and the Shell Beach tide pools are home to anemones and crabs. Posh boutiques and waterfront restaurants dot walkable La Jolla Village.

Mount Soledad, also known as Soledad Mountain, is a prominent landmark in the city of San Diego, California, United States. The mountaintop is the site of the Mount Soledad Cross, the subject of a 25-year controversy over the involvement of religion in government which concluded in 2016.

The Pacific Ocean is the largest and deepest of Earth's five oceanic divisions. It extends from the Arctic Ocean in the north to the Southern Ocean in the south and is bounded by the continents of Asia and Australia in the west and the Americas in the east.

Pacific Beach is a relaxed neighborhood by the beach, popular with sunbathers and surfers. Trendy hotel bars and casual cafes line the boardwalk, while Mission Boulevard and the surrounding streets are dotted with women’s clothing boutiques, yoga studios and casual drinking spots that draw a young, bar-hopping crowd. Inland, the grassy slope of Kate Sessions Park has sweeping views of the city and San Diego Bay.

Flat 12-mi. seafront cycle path & pedestrian walkway taking in views of the beach & bay.

Located on the surf and sand of Mission Beach, Belmont Park is San Diego's only beachfront amusement and entertainment center! From the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster to the dynamic oceanfront restaurants, Belmont Park is the quintessential Southern California beach experience. Come back after the tour and take a stroll through the park and grab a Monster Waffle Cone then check out all the action on the Boardwalk. Sit down for a delicious bite to eat or one of 69 beers on tap at Draft South Mission after a fun-filled day of mini golf, rock climbing, and rides. No matter your age, the park has something everyone in the family can enjoy.

Mission Beach is a laid-back neighborhood whose namesake sands attract surfers, sunbathers and volleyball players. A paved path curls around Mission Bay, a popular spot for water sports. Belmont Park is a small amusement park with a wooden roller coaster built in 1925, while SeaWorld San Diego has marine shows and up-close views of orcas and dolphins. Mission Boulevard is lined with casual cafes and eateries.

Waterside recreation complex housing picnic & play areas, sports courts & a ball field.

Mission Bay comprises 4,200 acres in roughly equal parts of land and water, surrounded by 27 miles of meandering shoreline of sandy beaches. Interconnected by a network of waterways, inlets and islets, the bay can also be traveled by boat. But if you don't have a boat and would rather stay dry, biking along easy going pedestrian and bicycle paths is the next best way to explore this area and that is why you want to book this tour with us.

Since 1927 Crystal Pier has been a popular vacation destination. Once known as Pickering's Pleasure Pier and now the historic Crystal Pier, Pacific Beach has become a beach lover's haven. The Cottages, built in 1930, have a history of guests enjoying the unique experience of 'Sleeping over the Ocean'. The Pier itself has had a bumpy ride as its construction, which began in the early 1920's, progressed in starts and stops. On April 19, 1936 ten years and one day after the original opening Crystal Pier was once more open for business. Along the way the pier had seen the Crystal ballroom along with a "Midway" built at the end of the pier, lasting only three months. A view of the midway and the short lived Crystal Ballroom. At one time in its history the Crystal Pier housed a long area of carnival like attractions leading to the newly constructed Crystal Ballroom. Both lasting for only three months before closing.

This beach has been popular with surfers for decades & features an iconic palm-covered surf shack.

Bird Rock is a seaside neighborhood within the larger community of La Jolla in San Diego, California. It lies on the Pacific Ocean at the southernmost end of La Jolla, just north of Pacific Beach.
