Villa Asteri is a 4BD Stone-built villa that combines ideally the traditional and the modern style and is located at the entrance of the village of Asteri, 3 km away from the nearest beach of Stavromenos village and 14 km east of Rethymno.

The space
Villa Asteri is a two-level mansion that was built in 1955, with interiors of traditional elegance paired up with modern day functionality. Τhe exteriors promise leisure and relaxation without restrictions. The initial stone build was used as a family manor and carpentry workshop.
In the ground floor of Villa Asteri there is a large common living room with hand –made wooden sofas, fireplace, big dining table and fully equipped modern kitchen, as well as two bedrooms with two big bathrooms. The other two bedrooms are on the first floor which is accessed by an interior staircase, and they all have their own private WC. The villa is situated in a traditional village called Asteri, ideal for long walks in nature, close to the famous Monastery Arkadi and nearby the beach (only 3 km). In the village there is also a folklore museum that presents the history of a Cretan house with all the items that were used at that period of time. In the village there are also places to taste really good cretan food and what we call "mezes" (something like finger food). Additionally, there is a mini market for the essentials someone may need.
