The space
The garden is at the back of the building, so it is secluded and quiet, despite the central location. Both the living room and the bedroom look out to the garden so there is no eye-contact with the busy streets. The location is perfect for a tourist that wants to eat and drink like a local. We are off the tourist zone, where the local greek crowd come to have their coffee or wine with meze (small tasty dishes to accompany the drinks). Our neighborhood is a lively, safe area. The location is perfect for a tourist that wants to eat and drink like a local. Still, all the major archaeological sites and museums are only a 10 minute walk away. So, you walk to most interesting stuff in the city of Athens but also get a local-vibe. Koukaki is also connected well to the seaside by a 10' busride. All will be explained when you come.
