My husband and I believe in the beauty of little things, we cherish the moment and try to live a mindful life. We care about a harmonious environment and often stay in the appartment ourselves. You will find beautiful handmade pottery, luxurious, cool greek cotton sheets (Greece has a great tradition of cotton milling) and silk filled bedding. We try to support local craftsmen and businesses. Many things in the appartment are handcrafted, and most of them are locally sourced. Kypseli is a historic, hip and charming neighbourhood. It has always attracted writers and poets, musicians, actors and other artists. The famous pedestrian zone Fokionos Negri is only four blocks away. Kypseli is full of theaters and cinemas, and it has some of the most beautiful buildings built during the 60ies, when the city had one of its best times. A wonderful modernist house, built by Aristomenis Proveleggios for a sculptor is just around the corner, as is a terrific bar, designed by the same architect in the 50ies - and unchanged since then.
