The space
The house #4 is found on the ground floor of a rennovated traditional Sfakian house.The house has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable dinning and sitting area with energy saving fireplace and a spacious bathroom. There are also two separate double bedrooms. The level is accessible directly from the property's ground garden area. The widely used traditional materials of wood and stone enhance the houses' warm feeling and cosiness. in area-Aradena Village, Sfakia Region, Chania Province , Crete, GreeceThe beauty of the surrounding area is one of a kind.The houses' proximity to the Aradena gorge offers a breathtaking view of the natures' creations. Visitors get to cross over the exciting bridge which unites the two sides of the gorge- also famous for it's deepest gorge bungee-jump in Europe.There is a canteen at the gorge open all day for coffee, juice and snacks and then there are 4-5 tavernas, a traditional bakery and a Mini Market at the Anopoli village, just 3 km from the house.
For swimming:
The Illingas beach with its turquoise refreshing water is just 20' of relaxed driving by car. For those who are more adventurous; Marmara beach is an iddylic place as it is found in the end of the gorges' route and offers many caves to explore. Marmara beach is also accessible by ferries that depart frequently from Sfakia port.
In both beaches there are tavernas that are open on high summer season.
