The touristic and very active village of Platanias is about 8km far and there you can find many restaurants, bars, disco, shops, big market. The fantastic and unmissable city of Chania is 19 km away, Chania airport 39 km and Heraklion airport 158 km. Car rental is necessary.
It is very easy to go to the most beautiful and famous beaches of Crete [ Elafonissi, Falasarna, Balosetc] and that is because the villa is very near the highway, without even passing through the very crowded village of Platanias or the city of Chania, avoiding the traffic jam.
For those who love walking or cycling (mountain bike), there are many trails in the surrounding areas of the villa that penetrate into the wonderful nature of the olive and passing through narrow paths of small typical Cretan villages.
