The house is in front of metro station of Kerameikos(Gkazi),the heart of night life in Athens. Gazi is full of caffees,bars and restaurants and also maybe the safest area of Athens,because it is 24 h area. You can go for drink or food any time. Kerameikos metro station is DIRECT to the airport. So it is extremely easy very central area in the real historic Athens centre, for someone who wants to arrive without changing buses and metros. The metro leaves just in front of my house. Monastiraki square is 8 minutes walking(1 minute by metro). Syntagma square is 15 minutes walking(2 minutes by metro).You can easily go to Acropolis and Acropolis museum (20 minutes walking) or 2 minutes by metro.Easy access in any area of Athens. The neighbourhood is very safe!!!
