The district "Donaustadt" is one of the biggest districts in Vienna. It is home to the United Nations and other international organizations as well as the Old Danube ("Alte Donau"), a lake in the middle of Vienna, which originated from a side arm of the Danube. Within 15 minutes walk, you can reach the Donauturm, which offers a great view and a rotating restaurant. The area has a lot of green space and is still close to the city centre. For shopping enthusiasts, the shopping centre "Donauzentrum" (in walking distance) offers plenty of shops.
