Ermou street, next to the flat, is the most commercial -pedestrian only- shopping street in Athens. It is a 1,5 Km road connecting Kerameikos archaeological site with the Syntagma Square through Monastiraki, Plaka, Psiri and Thiseio. The neighborhood is full of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, street food, mini markets, banks etc. You will live actually in the heart of Athens in one of the safest districts next to all the sights you wish to visit.
Syntagma metro station (4 minutes on foot from the house) is directly connected to Venizelos airport and the trip lasts 40 minutes. As soon as you get in the train at airport in 50 minutes max you will be in the house!!!!
