The area (Saint Michel - latin quarter) is very lively. A lot of tourists, students, people just wandering and going out. Many beautiful monuments or places to visit, all walking distance: Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Sainte Chapelle, Cluny museum, church des Prêtres Saint Séverin, Luxembourg gardens, Saint Germain des Prés, Lutece arenas...
You can have nice walks on the banks of the Seine.
There are a lot of restaurants, from very cheap ones to excellents. We will leave a selection of those we like. To go shopping, Saint Germain des Prés is a pretty good place. And the latin quarter, just behind our block, is a great place to just walk...
